2025年度40天大齋期靈修

The “40 days of Lent” refers to the period of Christian devotion leading up to Easter, lasting for 40 days, which symbolizes the 40 days Jesus spent fasting and praying in the desert before beginning his public ministry, where he faced temptations from the devil, as described in the Bible (Matthew 4:1-11); this time is used for reflection, prayer, and acts of penance to prepare for the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday.
